This tutorial will teach you about all network number prefixes in Nigeria. We’ve included both old and new MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9Mobile, Smile, Ntel, Starcom, Zoom, MultiLinks, and Visafone number prefixes.
Because of the expansion in the telecom market in Nigeria, several Telecommunication businesses have formed, as have numerous phone numbers that are increasingly unpopular, as opposed to 0803, 0809, 0805, 0808, and other easily identifiable phone numbers.
Perhaps you received a call from a phone number you are unfamiliar with and are trying to figure out which network owns that specific mobile phone number. Look no further since I have updated this post with the most recent number prefixes for all networks in Nigeria.
For example, 0814 is an MTN number, 0701 is an Airtel number, 0811 is a Glo number, and 0817 is an Etisalat 9Mobile number; all other network number prefixes are included on this page, so bookmark it for future reference.
Even when I try to be clever, I don’t always get it right. In Nigeria, it’s difficult to distinguish or know which network individuals use to call you these days. Nowadays, our network providers use a variety of phone number prefixes.
There are numerous numbers available now that will be difficult to guess or cram, which is why it’s important to bookmark posts like this because they may come in handy the next time a strange number calls you.

MTN NOW OWNS VISAFONE
After acquiring the network, MTN NG has now added the three Visafone number prefixes to its database. This means that “0704, 07025, and 07026” are now MTN numbers.
This post is correct and up to date as of April 2020, but I will do my best to keep it up to date whenever there is a new number in Nigeria or a new network provider.
As you can see, MTN has the most mobile numbers on their list, and who knows, Glo may release more numbers in the future as the ones they have are already overcrowded.
