I wanted to increase my APT programming skills as a graphical CAM system programmer for many years, and this book helped me. APT is an indispensable weapon in my arsenal. I strongly advise any CNC programmer interested in expanding his expertise and gaining insights into what is truly going on behind the scenes of his preferred graphical CAM system to study APT. Understanding how to program in APT can improve your 3D spatial visualization talents as well as your problem-solving inventiveness. Perhaps if more programmers studied APT these days, we would have a larger pool of ability. The best programmers, those who started with APT, are retiring for good, and the hole they leave must be filled.
