The DBE has released new information regarding the publication of Matric results (Department of Basic Education).

The Department of Basic Education has decided to publish only a subset of Matric results. This means you can now choose whether or not to have your results published in the newspaper.

Forms were distributed to the class of 2022, requesting their permission to publish their results online and in newspapers.

Here is what Education spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga has to say:

“We received a large number of responses, which we are currently processing, and that is why we are working throughout December to ensure that everything is completed by the time the Minister releases the results on January 19th, and this is the first time it is happening, so there is a lot of work to be done.”
