The South African Social Security Organization (SASSA) is a national government body formed in April 2005 to administer social subsidies on behalf of the Department of Social Development. The DSD supervises the Agency but has no operational power over it.

Dates for R350 SRD Sassa Grant Payments in 2023
The November 2022 R350 SASSA Payment Dates have not yet been verified. The post office payout system no longer applies these SASSA payment dates. Beneficiaries of the SASSA R350 can get their funds as soon as they receive payment confirmation from SASSA.
Before going out to collect their R350 prize, beneficiaries are encouraged to wait for a text message telling them that they can do so.

- You can update your bank account details by visiting the SRD website at srd.sassa.gov.za.
- Scroll down to the section titled “How to Change My Banking Details.” Enter your ID number and press the “Submit” button.
- Following that, an SMS will be delivered to the phone number you provided during the application process with a secure link to modify your banking details. The link will be active for 30 minutes.
- Follow the instructions by clicking on the link in the SMS you received.
- Please ensure that the bank account information you provide is your own since SASSA will not pay anyone else’s account.
- Also, if you choose to send money, check sure the phone number linked with the SMS is yours.
